We had just gotten into town and spur of the moment decided to have dinner at Lawry's. What a fun event! The restaurant has wonderful vintage mid century vibes from the spinning table side salad to the big silver carving stations and the servers dressed in traditional uniforms. It all felt so fun. And the food was delicious. The bread, so good as well as the salad and the fritters. Get those for sure. My piece of prime rib was a little tougher and fattier than my table mates but it was totally fine because we had so much extra food for the next day! Mushrooms are also a great side. We will definitely be back! It's nice to have a fun Vegas experience without paying an arm and a leg. So reasonably priced for the quality.

Everything was perfect! Pre dinner martini to fabulous prime rib dinner. Nice ambiance and great service. Price was also reasonable! Can't wait to be back next time we're in Vegas. Now we're off to see Absinthe Show at Caesars Palace!

Man this place was so good. I just wish I wasn't hungover when I visited because I didn't really get to eat much. Service was great! Our waitress was really kind and attentive to our table. The food was at our table within 30 minutes. Onion soup was really good, would order it again. Prime rib was of course phenomenal. Calamari was perfectly paired with their sauce. Corn, spinach, mash potatoes and asparagus were tasteful. Lobster tail wasn't overcooked and was great. Might be forgetting some food, as we ordered a lot, but all in all was a great experience, no complaints.

Located at Hughes Center since 1997 Lawry's The Prime Rib can safely be described as a Las Vegas icon, and although both Dallas and Beverly Hills have outposts that does nothing to dampen an Art Deco dining room and service on par to what one will find at some of The Strip's top Steakhouses. Known for Meats carved tableside from gleaming carts, though Certified Angus Steaks and fresh Seafood are also available, Lawry's experience begins with check-in at the hostess' podium, a trip to the lounge favored by some while most won't wish to delay the main event. Lavish without being stuffy, curved banquettes and tables each available, guests dine in a lively environment fueled by Wine or Cocktails poured shortly after the arrival of warm Sourdough Bread. Smart to order some starters, though those seeking lunch in under an hour could surely achieve such with Salad, a Sandwich or Prime Rib plus sides, Lawry's Cheesy Onion Fondue outpaces Calamari with Remoulade while the "Famous" Spinning Salad is a polarizing experience mostly thanks to the inclusion of Beets. Offering Roast Beef as a full-Dinner or a la carte, the former inclusive of Salad, Mashed Potatoes and Yorkshire Pudding, the quality of Lawry's Prime Rib is evident in terms of taste, texture and appearance while additional sides range from luxurious Creamed Corn and Spinach to crispy Fries. Not forgetting extra Au Jus, nor sizzling Mushrooms and Whipped Cream Horseradish for fans, Desserts come at the bargain price of $11-12 each for Coconut Banana Cream Pie that is heavy on the Cream plus seasonal Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Cake and Sticky Toffee Pudding better than one will get from Gordon Ramsay.

Lady Luck is on our side. Visiting Vegas just to get away and I discovered that it's also Las Vegas Restaurant Week. As a foodie, I call that lucky. If Vegas isn't already one of the best places to discover new cuisines or restaurants that I might not go to normally, LVRW is the perfect time to explore some of the these places. So to start out upon arrival, I made a reservation at Lawry's Prime Rib just to be safe, even though we went during lunch. What a fabulous deal. We both selected the Prime Rib luncheon cut served table side and sliced specifically to the temperate of your liking. It came with mashed potatoes and a choice of the creamed corn or the creamed spinach. The three course meal also came with the table side spinning salad and a choice of the strawberry trifle or the vanilla creme brûlée for dessert. This is our second time coming to LPR and just like the first time, the prime rib was deliciously tender and perfectly served with au-jus. I highly recommend Lawry's Prime Rib especially right now during LVRW. Tip: Lunch course is probably the best time to go. Though the dinner course gives you more options or choices, if the prime rib is what you're after, it is a great value at $40.00 per person.
